About Mark McQueen, Photographer |
A freelance photographer working in New York City since 1982, Mark McQueen serves clients from among the Fortune 500 and numerous public relations firms, publishers, universities and small businesses of all kinds. Mark's assignment work has been published in numerous national and regional publications including Newsweek, US News & World Report, and The New York Times, and Newsday, as well as in countless brochures, training manuals and videos, annual reports, and book covers. Mark creates flattering portraits of real people on location; mostly environmental portraits, and images of executives and employees engaged in activities both real and staged. While employing posing and lighting techniques that accentuate the positive, Mark relaxes his subjects through casual conversation and coaxes expressions that will help achieve the client's objectives. |

While many photographers are just beginning to tackle the challenges of digital photography, Mark has been fully digital since 1999. Mark is also a Corporate Special Events photographer, and provides on-location Executive portraits for busy executives. He is currently working on a book and exhibit of City Dog photos, and donates time photographing abandoned pets at Animal Haven, a no-kill shelter in New York. |
